How Do I Become Certified?

So you want a career in equine or canine body work, but don't know how to get started? Well, you've come to the right place! The Canadian Institute of Equine and Canine Body Work has just what you need to be certified, recognized and ready to pursue a profession in animal bodywork. We are constantly improving and upgrading our course offerings to adapt to the ever-changing advances within our field.

Equinology® Equine Body Worker Certification

EEBW

Certified to work as an Equine Body Worker

Courses Required: 

EQ50: Anatomy Pre-Course Distance Study (Online)

EQ100: Equinology® Equine Body Worker Certification Course (On Site)

 

To become a professional equine bodyworker, you must complete the anatomy pre-course (online) as well as an in-person certification course (9 days of theory and hands on), which includes the successful completion of an externship done back in your own community with support. Upon successful completion of both courses, you are a certified equine practitioner! Once you've completed your Equinology® Equine Body Worker certification, you are eligible to take any other Equinology Equine Body Worker certification classes for levels Two through Master in any order you choose.

 

*Please note, you do not need to be fully completed the pre-course distance study to attend the certification course, but we highly recommend having a solid understanding of the anatomy prior to. You do have to successfully complete both courses within the foundation level prior to receiving your Level One certification.

Caninology® Canine Body Worker Certification

CCBW

Certified to work as a Canine Body Worker

Courses Required: 

CN3005: Anatomy and Behaviour Pre-Course Distance Study (Online)

CN3000: Caninology® Canine Body Worker Certification Course (On Site)

 

To become a professional canine bodyworker, you must complete the anatomy and behaviour pre-course (online) as well as an in-person certification course (9 days of theory and hands on), which includes the successful completion of an externship done back in your own community with support. Upon successful completion of both courses, you are a certified canine practitioner! Once you've completed your Caninology® Canine Body Worker certification, you are eligible to take any other Caninology® Canine Body Worker certification classes for level two in any order you choose.
